Isabel has treated me for the past 3/4 years. I was incredibly anxious about seeing an osteopath or allowing anyone to treat me, but at the time I could barely walk/stand or sleep due to an injury that was aggravating my sciatic nerve. I have suffered with back pain on and off since I was a child and always avoided being seen and just suffered in silence. Isabel put me at ease from the offset and was great at explaining her treatment and showing me why and where my injuries occurred. She reassured me and made me feel far less frightened. She was very gentle in her treatment and explained each process as she went along.
When my 14 year old son had reoccurring sports injuries, due to growth spurts, she was brilliant at treating him and teaching him about various muscles as she did so. I used her as a ‘osteo-therapist’ for him and she saw him every 6 weeks to treat injuries, realign him and put him at ease. She has a very calm and gentle manner to her so if you struggle with the thought of treatment or are anxious, I would highly recommend seeing her. It does make a huge difference to the healing process and is a great preventative for injuries if you see her regularly.

I came to Isabel with lower back pain and a long standing shoulder issue which didn’t seem to want to resolve. I had had a stroke 10 months previously and had been suffering from severe post stroke fatigue leading to a huge reduction in activity and big increase in frustration and feeling low. Isabel was professional, knowledgeable and skilled but also kind and encouraging. Isabel has fixed me physically but also helped me enormously in increasing my confidence and patience with myself in my stroke recovery with her understanding and lovely sense of humour. I had done something to my back whilst cutting the top of a hedge, but I didn't know what. It was a minor niggling issue down my legs to start with, which I thought would sort itself out. However, after a month of it getting worse and worse and travelling all over my back and sides (I shouldn't have waited so long!), I decided it was time for professional help as it was still very painful, and I didn't want to take painkillers every 4 hours forever!!!!
I've been using the Natural Health Centre for about 30 years when it comes to back problems, so it was the obvious choice. I would normally book Kim, however she was busy and I'd reached the end of my tether, so I booked Isabel for her next available slot, which was luckily the next morning...
As a 'patient', you're always a bit nervous about seeing someone new, however Isabel displayed the same attention to detail in diagnoses, knowledge of the problem, and skill in treatment, as I'd had from Kim over the years, so I needn't have worried....she was absolutely amazing, and has totally sorted my back out for me!!
I think that the moral of this review, aside from heartily recommending the Natural Health Centre, is to not just to wait and see if your back sorts itself out, but to get treatment after a few days, as it won't go away on its own. Still, this is a review, so thank you very much Kim and Isabel.

Today I was able to walk 6.5km without a single hint of pain in my lower back or hip - all thanks to the osteopathic treatment I received from you! (Isabel).
My life has been transformed, not only because I am able to exercise again, but because I am no longer in constant pain. I tried many other treatments, but none of them was this effective.
